Instant Win Games Are Definitely a Good Thing!

May 11th, 2012

Do you want a nickel today or a dime tomorrow? That’s one of the oldest questions around, but there’s just sometimes where you want that nickel over that dime. Instant gratification is nothing new, and many facets of our society are based on instant gratification. We want what we want, right NOW and not later. There’s nothing wrong with that, within reason.

Take gambling for instance — why should you want to wait too terribly long to find out whether or not you’ve won? That might work for strategy games, but not for anything that doesn’t involve that type of strategic thinking. You might just want to know immediately if you win or not, and we’re not really opposed to this at all. In fact, if you’re really certain that you need to know whether you won or not in a quick fashion, now is definitely the time to make sure that you are looking through all of your options when it comes to instant win games.

That covers a wide range of options, actually. You have bingo, video slots, and scratch card games. Roulette can also be in this category, but most leave it out because of all of the strategy involved with the game. Keno is also a fun “instant” type game, but it might be a little slower compared to slots. You will definitely know whether or not you’re the big winner if you decide to play slots. Those progressive jackpots just get higher and higher, and somebody has to win them — why shouldn’t it be you?

These are also some of the easier games to find online. If you want to play at a casino, make sure that they offer these. Casinos know that slots and scratch cards do bring in a lot of people that just want to have a good time, so they make sure that they sweeten the pot. You should always look at what type of bonus you’re going to get when you sign up for a new casino. And don’t let anyone tell you that casinos don’t do it, because advertising for new players is a huge business and they spend a lot of money to get new people; in the door, who hopefully will spend a lot money over time as well. There are lots of people that actually plan this type of thing out, believe it or not.

Either way, you get to reap the benefits of an instant win situation, which is always a good thing. Who doesn’t want to add a little bit of extra money to their bottom line?

Ready to begin? Now is definitely the time to start thinking about where you want to play all of those lovely instant win games!

Is it Really The Right Time to Play At an Online Casino

May 9th, 2012

Are you thinking about trying to play at an online casino? You wouldn’t be the only one! However, if you’re only playing at land based casinos, you might feel like it’s just not time to play at an online casino. After all, don’t the traditional casinos give you the experience that you’re really looking for?

If you’re thinking that way, we completely understand. The truth is that a lot of people think about things from this viewpoint, and it’s commonplace. You don’t even have to look at too many movies to realize that people sit and think of all of the money to be won at a regular casino.

The truth that you need to hear today is that it’s quite possible to win big money at an online casino. It’s just a matter of making sure that you jump in with the right intentions. You’re going to have to employ a little strategy. You’re going to need to really think about the casino experience that you want to have.

Let’s start with a few pointers.

First and foremost, the casino that you choose really does indeed still make a difference. If you only go with the casino that everyone else is playing at, you might miss a few things. It’s so much easier to actually look at a casino for what YOU need it to be, rather than what everyone else needs it to be. If you’re a big bingo fan and a casino doesn’t have bingo, why would you play there? Just because it’s a popular destination for other gamblers doesn’t mean that you have to follow suit.

It’s perfectly possible to make sure that you still get a great experience at the casino without having to just “fall in line”, as it were. You need to read a few casino reviews to figure things out for yourself. You can always tell the reviews that are written by fellow gamblers trying to help you, and you can even tell the reviews that are just written to try to get you to play at a certain casino. Don’t let anyone part you from your hard earned money unless they’re going to give you something in return.

Going with a good solid casino can be hard, especially when you’re starting out. Everyone seems to be saying the same thing, but is that really the case? Are they going to take care of your gambling needs? What about support? What about security? What type of games do they offer? Is it a good casino for small bankrolls? You have to take all of these things into consideration when you’re gambling.

Don’t forget to make some friends. The casino world online is well connected, and the friends you make today may last you longer than you think they will. You just have to push forward and see what’s waiting for you around the other side — start today!

Bankroll Management – Still a Top Concern, Even Today!

May 7th, 2012

If there’s one thing that you have to do before you can play any casino game, it’s managing your bankroll. We cannot count how many people honestly rush into the world of online casino gambling thinking that they’re going to take over everything, only to find that they’re broke within 24-48 hours. Why? They pushed too hard for their bankroll size.

This is something that gets talked about for strategy games like poker, but the truth is that your bankroll mattress no matter what game you’re thinking about. It’s tempting to say that it’s just something for strategy games, but your bankroll determines how long you’re going to be able to enjoy the slot games as well. It also determines how long you’re going to be able to enjoy bingo. There are a lot of different things that go into the world of casino gambling, and it’s up to you to explore them.

Figuring out how much money you need to play means figuring out how often you actually want to check out the big games. If you’re a weekend player, having $500 in your account is more than reasonable. However, if you’re going to play high volume, you will need more than just $500.

Don’t forget that in the world of casinos, you’re valuable. There are promotions that help you stretch your bankroll so that you’re not running out of money too quickly. You might wonder why the casinos would even bother to give you free money — that’s taking out of their profits!

This is true, but that’s really only a short sighted way to see things. It’s a lot smarter to step back and look at the bigger picture. If they can get you to like them and want to spend money there over time, they’re going to make back that welcome bonus.

There are even sites that show you the casinos that have the best promotions going on from any given point in time. You just need to make sure that you’re doing the research. Don’t get lazy and then regret that you missed your new player bonus. Some people even decide to split their bankroll in half and play at two different casinos at once so they can get bigger and better prizes. Again, that’s up to you. We like to really just deposit our money in one casino at a time, but your mileage may vary depending on how much you play.

Now is definitely the time to check out your options — why not start here?

Getting to grips with holding the dice like an expert

May 3rd, 2012

If you are partial to throwing the dice at the craps table when you visit a casino, you may or may not realise that there are actually three factors in controlling the dice effectively; setting, gripping and then throwing. By following the tips mentioned here you will be able to grip the dice correctly after setting them, and thus ensuring that your throw is a lot more accurate.

You should start to prepare you gripping procedure from the moment the stickman starts to push the dice in your direction. In order that you can produce the desired result, you have to grip the dice in a certain way that ensure they both leave your hands correctly and stay together when thrown.  The first step is looking at the dice to see which numbers are facing upwards. Then visualise what you have to do to the dice to turn them into the position you want them.

If you are following a rule of the pros and tipping the dealer, you can ask then to give them as ‘all sixes’ one of the easiest positions to manipulate. All sixes is exactly how it sounds; both dice have a 6 facing up, the 1 will be on the bottom, and the combinations of 4/3 or 2./5 will be on the sides.

You should buy a pair of regulation size dice and practice with them when at home, this allows you to speed up the setting after the stick man returns them and avoid holding up the game by fumbling about. Many boxmen will complain if you take too long over your setting and the last thing you want is to alienate the dealers.

When the current shooter hits the sevens, watch what the stickman does. He returns the dice to the bowl then chooses 5 dice and pushes them in your direction. If you are looking for a hard way set, look for the dice with a 2, a 4 or a 6 facing up, enabling you to set them quicker. Once you have established a point however you will have the same dice returned every time, and have to set them even faster.

The easiest method to set dice quickly is very simple; just remember that the opposite sides always add up to 7. Also remember that it all has to be done with one hand, and if your other one comes anywhere near the dice you will suffer the wrath of the boxman who has the power to take the dice off you if he suspects they have been touched by both hands.

Once flipped, you have to make sure they will travel together on parallel paths. The only way to do this is to ensure that your finger pressure is equal, something that comes with practice, and should be tried out as much as possible at home. When you have mastered the gripping, setting and throwing you can take your place on that table, and become a player instead of the spectator.

Casinos cater to every type of Gambler

May 1st, 2012

Once considered to be elite establishments only patronised by the rich and the famous, almost every town and city now has some kind of casino. Frequently represented in films as being run by corrupt, sharp suited businessmen with the trophy bimbo on their arm, they are seen as having elaborately decorated interiors to make their rich clientele feel right at home while they plat the tables and socialise.

These kinds of opulent casinos can still be found in resorts such as Monte Carlo or Las Vegas, but the majority are for every day people to come and try their luck. Some resemble dark, gentleman’s clubs, while other have so much neon lighting you could be excused for thinking when you enter that you have walked into a strip club. There will be the smart croupiers, probably a few scantily clad women, and lots of different games that you can choose from.

Whether you visit a bricks and mortar casino or a virtual one online, the chances are that there will be the same games to play. The standard fare is roulette, craps, blackjack, baccarat, various types of poker such as Texas hold ‘em and Omaha and a wide array of slot machines. If you are a complete novice, stay away from the likes of baccarat and stick to roulette or blackjack, easy to understand and play.

If you have at sometime in your life visited the kind of amusement arcades that litter the sea front resorts, or thrown a couple of quid in a pub bandit, you may think you are pretty savvy as far as slots are concerned. Casino slots, however, are a whole different breed. With high stakes and large payouts, you can go through a week’s wages in the time it takes to say three cherries, so steer clear unless you know your stuff.

Many hotels around the world have now their own casino listed amongst their facilities. This is a clever way of keeping guests in house and stopping them spend their money elsewhere. These are generally great fun to spend some time in, and  the social aspect also gives you the option of getting to know fellow holidaymakers, and with this kind of entertainment on tap why go trawling around the resort at night?

If you are going somewhere on holiday where you know there is a casino and you plan on paying it a visit, checking out the online versions while give you an idea of how to play the games and what bets to place. Games such as roulette have numerous bet combinations and it’s easy to get caught up in the atmosphere, whereas online you can study the betting strategy and prepare yourself for the real thing.
